Overview
3 Day Gorilla Trekking Uganda is a true once-in-a-lifetime safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, host to almost half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas – more than 400 individuals in habituated families. Starting and ending in Kampala or Entebbe (or Kigali for early/late flights), this private trek includes a stop at the Equator and a magical hour in the presence of the gentle giants.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Early morning pick-up and drive to Bwindi, stopping at the Equator in Kayabwe for photos, with lunch en route through western Uganda, arriving in the evening to check in and overnight. Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner.
Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing, where groups of up to 8 are allocated a gorilla family. Trek 2–6 hours through the forest with a ranger, spending a magical hour with the gorillas before returning for your trekking certificate. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Return to Kampala
After breakfast, drive back to Kampala past the scenic Kigezi highlands and Buganda plains, with lunch en route, arriving in the evening. Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch.
