Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Kigali & City Tour
Met at Kigali Airport and taken on a city tour including the moving Kigali Genocide Memorial. Dinner and overnight.
Kigali to Volcanoes National Park
Transfer to Volcanoes National Park, arriving for lunch, then a visit to the Kinigi cultural centre for traditional dance and community life.
Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After a briefing, trek into the Virunga slopes for a magical hour with a mountain gorilla family.
Twin Lakes Burera & Ruhondo & Community Walk
Explore the crater Twin Lakes with a guided community walk, meeting local fishermen and enjoying the volcano scenery, with an optional school or beekeeping project visit.
Golden Monkey Hike & Return to Kigali
Track the rare golden monkeys in the bamboo forests, then transfer back to Kigali for departure.
