The 13 Days Uganda Bird Watching Adventure is a comprehensive birding journey across Uganda’s premier habitats – from the shoebill swamps of Mabamba to the acacia savanna of Lake Mburo, the Albertine Rift forests of Bwindi, the wildlife-rich Queen Elizabeth, the primate forests of Kibale and the mighty Murchison Falls – with optional gorilla and chimpanzee tracking along the way.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival
Met at Entebbe and transferred to your hotel.
Mabamba Swamp Birding
Canoe Mabamba in search of the shoebill and other wetland species.
Bird Watching in Lake Mburo National Park
Transfer to Lake Mburo for acacia-savanna birding.
Bird Watching in Lake Mburo
A full day birding and game viewing in the park.
Bird Watching in Bwindi
Transfer to Bwindi for Albertine Rift endemic birding.
Gorilla Tracking (Optional)
Optional mountain gorilla trekking or continued birding.
Queen Elizabeth National Park
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth with birding and a game drive.
Entire Day Bird Watching
A full day birding across the park’s varied habitats and the Kazinga Channel.
Bird Watching in Kibale National Park
Transfer to Kibale for forest birding.
Kibale (Optional Chimpanzee Tracking)
Optional chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Wetland birding.
Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
Transfer north to Murchison Falls, birding en route.
