Arrival
Welcomed on arrival and transferred to your Kigali hotel. After lunch, enjoy a city tour with stops at the genocide memorial sites and other points of interest. Overnight in Kigali.

Kigali to Volcanoes National Park
Enjoy a guided city tour including the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, then drive to Volcanoes National Park with its rich montane ecosystems of bamboo forest, grassland and swamps. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.

Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Spend time with the endangered mountain gorillas on a beautiful hike through the green hills of the Virungas, enjoying a magical hour in their presence as your guide shares insights into the family. Return to the lodge to relax. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.

Volcanoes to Akagera National Park
Drive to Akagera National Park for an afternoon/evening game drive, with chances to spot night birds and animals. Dinner and overnight at Ruzizi Tented Lodge.

Akagera to Nyungwe Forest
Enjoy a morning game drive among zebras, antelopes and giraffes, then drive via Kigali (lunch) to Nyungwe Forest. An evening walk in search of shy forest dwellers is rewarding. Dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Rainforest Lodge.

Nyungwe Forest Primate Walk
After breakfast, take a full-day primate walk with park rangers in search of chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus and other species. Dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Rainforest Lodge.

Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Kigali Airport for your departure flight. An extra night in Kigali is advisable for morning/afternoon flights.
