Two days Bwindi gorilla trekking rom Kigali gives you a rare opportunity to encounter these incredible creatures within their natural habitat on the Ugandan side from Rwanda.

Detailed Itinerary

On your first day, you will be transferred from Kigali to Bwindi in Uganda. For easy and quick access, you can use the Cyanika border to access most accommodations located within the premises of the park. Upon arrival, get to your booked hotel, checking, relax, have dinner and an overnight stay.

This is the last day of your trip, wake up early so that you are in time to attend the briefing session where experienced guides brief you on what to do and expect during the experience. After briefing, guides will accompany you through the thickets of Bwindi in search of gorillas, this experience can take about 2 to 3 hours depending on the location of your assigned gorilla family. Once you get to encounter the gorillas, you are allowed to be in their presence for one hour, as you take snaps and learn about their ways of feeding, grooming and living with each other in the jungle at a safe distance. After trekking, you can head back to the starting point to receive your certificate of participation, then head back to Kigali for outbound flight.
