Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary
Follow the journey through each exciting day of your adventure
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport – Transfer to Kampala
Meet your safari guide upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport for a warm welcome. Transfer to Kampala for check-in, followed by a brief city tour depending on arrival time.
Overnight: Maries Royal Hotel
Day 2: Transfer to Sipi Falls – Coffee Tour – Hike & Sunset Experience
Depart for Sipi Falls, driving through the lush Mabira Forest and crossing River Nile at Jinja. Arrive for lunch at the lodge before enjoying a coffee farm experience, waterfall hike, and a breathtaking sunset viewpoint.
Overnight: Rafiki Lodge
Day 3: Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Leave Sipi Falls after breakfast and transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Enjoy scenic landscapes with stopovers for stretching and lunch. Check in and relax ahead of the next day’s trek.
Overnight: Ziwa Guest House
Day 4: Rhino Trekking – Transfer to Murchison Falls NP
After breakfast, go for a guided walking trek to see the rhinos up close. Continue the journey to Murchison Falls NP, with a stop for lunch. Visit the top of Murchison Falls for spectacular views of the world’s strongest waterfall.
Overnight: Tangi Lodge
Day 5: Game Drive – Nile Boat Cruise
Take an early morning game drive for chances to see lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, and antelopes. After lunch, enjoy a 3-hour boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls with excellent sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and birds.

Day 6: Transfer to Fort Portal – Crater Lakes Region
Depart Murchison and drive toward Fort Portal through scenic countryside—Rift Valley escarpments, rural villages, and tea plantations. Have lunch in Fort Portal and continue to the Crater Lakes region.
Overnight: Lake Kyaninga/Kurumba Lodge
Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP
After an early breakfast, proceed for chimp trekking in Kibale Forest—home to the highest density of primates in Africa. After the trek, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with lunch en route.
Overnight: Elephant Hab Lodge
Day 8: Game Drive – Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel
Explore Queen Elizabeth NP on an early morning game drive with chances to see elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, hyenas, and abundant birdlife. After lunch, enjoy a 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.

Day 9: Transfer to Ishasha Sector – Afternoon Game Drive
Travel to the southern Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Arrive for lunch or an early check-in, followed by an afternoon game drive.

Day 10: Transfer to Bwindi – Batwa Cultural Experience
Drive from Ishasha to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest through terraced hills and scenic landscapes. In the afternoon, visit the Batwa community for a cultural experience and insights into their forest lifestyle.

Day 11: Gorilla Trekking – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Today is the highlight of your safari—Mountain Gorilla Trekking. After briefing, trek through Bwindi Forest with expert guides to meet a gorilla family. Spend an unforgettable hour observing them. After the trek, drive to the beautiful and serene Lake Bunyonyi.
Overnight: Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort
Day 12: Free Day at Lake Bunyonyi (Optional Activities)
Enjoy a relaxing day at Lake Bunyonyi. Optional activities include swimming, boat rides, community tours, birdwatching, or hiking the surrounding islands.
Overnight: Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort
Day 13: Transfer to Lake Mburo – Afternoon Safari
Depart Lake Bunyonyi for Lake Mburo National Park, known for zebras, impalas, elands, and giraffes. After check-in, head out for an evening game drive.
Overnight: Rwakobo Rock
Day 14: Mabamba Shoebill Experience – Transfer to Entebbe
Start the day with a game drive or nature walk, then check out and depart for Mabamba Swamp for the renowned Shoebill Stork experience. Afterward, transfer to Entebbe Airport for your flight.
