Day-by-Day Itinerary

Transfer from Kampala to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
After an early breakfast, meet your guide and drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, stopping at the Equator for photos and lunch en route. Arrive in the evening, check in, and overnight at your preferred lodge. Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner. Luxury: Mount Gahinga Lodge; Mid-range: Lake Chahafi Resort.

Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for an 8:00 am briefing. Trek through the forest in search of Mountain Gorillas u2013 the trek can take 2 to 6 hours with a magical hour spent in their presence. Return to the headquarters for your trekking certificate, then back to the lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Golden Monkey Trekking
Trek through the bamboo forest in search of the playful Golden Monkeys, which leap acrobatically through the bamboo for wonderful photo opportunities. Return to the lodge to relax. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Return to Kampala / Entebbe
After breakfast, embark on the drive back to Kampala with lunch en route, arriving in the evening for drop-off. Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch.
