Detailed Itinerary

Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from Kampala or Entebbe. Set off on a scenic drive through Uganda’s countryside, with a stop at the Equator for photos and a chance to experience this iconic landmark.

Continue your journey with lunch en route in Mbarara or Masaka before heading towards the dense rainforest of Bwindi. As you approach the park, enjoy breathtaking views of rolling hills and thick vegetation — a true introduction to Africa’s wilderness.
Overnight: Gorilla Mist Camp

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your gorilla trekking adventure. Guided by experienced rangers, trek through the forest in search of a habituated gorilla family.

Once found, spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat — an experience that is both humbling and unforgettable.

After the trek, transfer to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a scenic drive with chances to spot wildlife along the way.
Overnight: Topi Lodge Ishasha

Start your day with an early morning game drive across the plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Look out for elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards (if lucky), warthogs, and a wide variety of antelope species.

After lunch, head for a highlight of the safari — a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake George and Lake Edward. This cruise offers excellent wildlife viewing, including large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and countless bird species along the shoreline.
Overnight: Bush Lodge

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Enjoy lunch along the way and take in the beautiful Ugandan landscapes one last time before arriving in the late afternoon.
