Day-by-Day Itinerary
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start early to beat Kampala traffic, with a coffee and photo stop at the Equator and lunch in Mbarara. Drive through tea estates to your lodge, arriving for sunset views and overnight.
Kalinzu Chimpanzee Tracking & Kazinga Cruise
Track chimpanzees in the Kalinzu Forest in the morning, then a 2-hour afternoon Kazinga Channel boat cruise among hippos, crocodiles, elephants and abundant birdlife.
Game Drive & Village Walk
An early Kasenyi game drive for elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards and flamingos at the salt lakes, with an afternoon community village and crater lake walk.
Transfer to Kampala
