Detailed Itinerary
Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Kampala. Travel northwest through the scenic landscapes of Bombo and Masindi with a lunch stop along the way.
On arrival at Murchison Falls National Park, visit the spectacular Top of the Falls, where the mighty Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging into a thunderous waterfall — one of Uganda’s most powerful natural wonders.
After this unforgettable experience, proceed to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Overnight: Paraa Safari Lodge / Parkside Safari Lodge / Red Chilli Camp
After breakfast, head out for an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the park. This is one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Uganda, home to elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Uganda kob, hartebeests, oribis, and if lucky, leopards.
Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the Nile River towards the base of Murchison Falls. This cruise offers close encounters with hippos, Nile crocodiles, waterbucks, and a variety of bird species along the riverbanks.

After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Kampala.
Along the way, stop at the famous Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary — the only place in Uganda where you can track wild rhinos on foot. Enjoy a guided rhino tracking experience as you learn about conservation efforts to reintroduce the Big Five fully into Uganda’s wildlife ecosystem.
After lunch and a short rest at the sanctuary, continue your drive back to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the evening.
