Kampala u2013 Drive to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, drive via Mbarara to Kabale (about 6 hours) through tropical countryside, the Equator and savannah of long-horned Ankole cattle, arriving at Lake Bunyonyi in the late afternoon. Relax with a dugout canoe ride or birdwatching by the lakeside. Overnight at a lakeside resort.

Explore Lake Bunyonyi
Visit the distinctive Batwa and Abaheesi (blacksmith) communities or the Bukora Cave, then enjoy an afternoon of boat rides, canoeing, cycling or a visit to the Orugano rainforest. Birders can enjoy over 300 recorded species. A full-day canoe trek to the islands is also available. Overnight at a lakeside resort.

Lake Bunyonyi u2013 Drive to Kampala
After breakfast, drive back to Kampala with a lunch stop in Masaka, arriving in the late afternoon.
