Day-by-Day Itinerary
Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Drive to southwestern Uganda with a stop at the Equator monument in Kayabwe, enjoying a scenic drive through lush countryside and arriving at Bwindi in the early evening.
Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Trail Experience
Trek into the forest (2–8 hours) to spend a magical hour with a habituated mountain gorilla family. In the afternoon, enjoy the Batwa Trail cultural experience with the native forest pygmies.
Return Drive to Kampala
Drive back to Kampala with lunch in Mbarara and a stop at the Mpambire drum makers, ending with drop-off at your residence or the airport.
