Nairobi National Park is one of the world’s most unusual wildlife parks – a genuine savanna wilderness lying just a few kilometres from the centre of Kenya’s bustling capital. Here, lions, rhinos and giraffes roam against the backdrop of the city skyline.
Wildlife
Despite its compact size, the park supports four of the Big Five (no elephants), including black rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, giraffe, zebra and over 400 bird species. It is one of Kenya’s most successful rhino sanctuaries.

The city itself offers the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, the Giraffe Centre, the Karen Blixen Museum and vibrant markets – making Nairobi a rewarding start or end to any Kenya safari.
