The journey begins from Entebbe/Kampala to the “Whispers of the Wild” Lake Mburo (4 hours’ drive) and concludes at Queen Elizabeth National Park.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO | BOAT CRUISE | GAME DRIVE
After breakfast, your safari guide picks you up from Kampala/Airport to begin your 7-day adventure. Check in at your lodge early afternoon for lunch and relaxation. Enjoy a late afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo, spotting aquatic birds, hippos, waterbucks, and crocodiles along the shores. Capture the magnificent sunset before a simple night game drive returning to the lodge, offering chances to see nocturnal wildlife like leopards, nightjars, owls, hyenas, civet cats, zebras, antelopes, and giraffes.

Day 2: GAME DRIVE | TRANSFER TO BWINDI
Wake early for Ugandan tea or coffee, then embark on a morning game drive to spot wildlife arising from sleep. Depart the park for Bwindi, the gorilla sanctuary, with an en-route lunch stop in Mbarara town. Check in at your accommodation and rest for tomorrow’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 3: GORILLA TREKKING | BATWA EXPERIENCE
After breakfast, transfer to the briefing area to learn gorilla trekking regulations and expectations. Enter Bwindi’s thick canopy to search for mountain gorillas. Following the trek, enjoy an exciting activity with the local Batwa pygmy community, learning about their culture, livelihood, and traditions. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH | GAME DRIVE
After breakfast, check out and journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s second-largest park. Game drive with lunch in Ishasha sector for opportunities to see tree-climbing lions. Continue to your lodge, check in, refresh, then head for an evening game drive spotting elephants, waterbucks, topis, antelopes, and birds.

Day 5: GAME DRIVE | BOAT CRUISE KAZINGA CHANNEL
Wake to Ugandan coffee or tea and depart for an early morning game drive, potentially seeing big cats hunting their prey. Return for full breakfast and relaxation before embarking on a stunning Kazinga Channel adventure. Observe numerous aquatic birds, high hippo concentrations, waterbucks, elephants, and animals cooling themselves around the channel. Return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 6: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING | NATURE WALK & CRATER LAKES
After breakfast, drive to Kyambura Gorge viewpoint for landscape photos and park breezes. Head to Kalinzu for chimpanzee trekking, where you’ll receive a briefing before beginning your tracking. Return to the lodge for refreshment and lunch. In the evening, tour the scenic crater lakes stretching across magnificent views. Return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 7: TRANSFER TO KAMPALA | EQUATOR EXPERIENCE
Enjoy a farewell breakfast and check out for your return journey to Kampala. Stop at the Equator for lunch, stretch your legs, use facilities, take photos, and purchase souvenirs from craft shops as gifts for friends and family. Drive to Kampala/Entebbe where your guide drops you off, concluding your 7-day safari.
