DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK | EVENING GAME DRIVE

Meet our representative at Entebbe International Airport for a briefing about your 4-day Queen Elizabeth adventure. Stop at the famous Equator for photos, light meals, and Ugandan crafts. Visit Igongo Cultural Center to view sculptures, the museum, and cultural exhibits. Continue via Mbarara and Bushenyi, observing beautiful tea plantations before reaching the park. During the evening game drive, watch for elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, bushbucks, warthogs, hyenas, bushpigs, and various bird species including Papyrus Gonolek, White-backed Night Heron, Yellow-throated Cuckoo, and Red-chested Sunbird. Enjoy the sunset before returning to the lodge.

Day 2: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING KYAMBURA GORGE | BOAT CRUISE KAZINGA CHANNEL

After breakfast, drive to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee tracking. Explore the gorge with experienced guides and observe these incredible primates in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a Kazinga Channel adventure. This waterway hosts one of Africa’s highest hippo concentrations and abundant birdlife. Watch for elephants, crocodiles, and other wildlife coming to drink and bathe.

Day 3: TRANSFER TO ISHASHA SECTOR | GAME DRIVES

After breakfast, drive to the Ishasha Sector in southern Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for tree-climbing lions. During your game drive, witness these magnificent cats lounging in ancient fig trees, surveying the savannah plains filled with Uganda kobs, topis, buffaloes, and other grazers. Enjoy lunch at Topi Lodge in the wilderness. Optional afternoon activities include cultural encounters with local communities or an evening game drive.

Day 4: LAKE KATWE TOUR | TRANSFER TO KAMPALA

After breakfast, check out for an optional Lake Katwe tour—a volcanic salt lake. Witness locals mining salt rocks using traditional methods. If time permits, visit nearby Lake Munyanyange (2km away) for birdwatching including flamingoes, pied avocets, black-winged stilts, seagulls, and black terns. Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe Airport for your flight home.
