DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE AIRPORT

Your guide picks you up at the airport and transfers you to Kampala for hotel check-in, city tour, and lunch. Return to the hotel for rest.

Day 2: TRANSFER TO SIPI FALLS | COFFEE TOUR | HIKING & SUNSET

Set off eastward through Mabira Forest, crossing the Nile. Target lunch at the lodge, then experience coffee processing, falls hike, and sunset viewing.

Day 3: TRANSFER TO ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY

Leave Sipi Falls for Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary—a long drive with stopovers for stretching and lunch. Check in at the guest house and prepare for morning rhino trekking.

Day 4: RHINO TREKKING | TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS

After breakfast, trek with a specialized guide to see rhinos in the sanctuary working to reintroduce them to Uganda. Continue to Murchison Falls lodge, having lunch along the way and visiting the world’s strongest falls.

Day 5: GAME DRIVE | BOAT CRUISE ON THE NILE

Set off for an early morning game drive spotting big cats hunting, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and more (76 mammal species recorded). Browse circuits to the Delta point for birds and mammals. After lunch and relaxation, enjoy a 3-hour boat ride to the falls’ base. See numerous hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and beautiful bird species along the banks.

Day 6: TRANSFER TO CRATER LAKES AREA BY FORT PORTAL

After breakfast, transfer to the crater lakes area near Fort Portal. It’s a long drive targeting lunch in Fort Portal. Stopovers at the Rift Valley escarpment on Lake Albert, typical African village setups, and tea plantations offer stretching opportunities. Check in late afternoon to an area with amazing primates and lovely scenery.

Day 7: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING | TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH

After early breakfast, head for chimpanzee trekking. Following briefing, a guide leads you into the forest for this amazing adventure. After trekking, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, having lunch along the way. Arrive at the lodge late afternoon.

Day 8: GAME DRIVE | BOAT CRUISE

Discover Queen Elizabeth National Park in the cool morning with an early game drive revealing diverse animals. Potentially see elephants, buffaloes, big cats (lions, leopards), warthogs, hyenas, and more. Rich birdlife includes storks in wetland areas and flamingoes at salt lakes. After lunch, enjoy the 2-hour boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel (36km connecting Lake George to Lake Edward). Watch hippos yawning, Nile crocodiles along banks, and warthogs—hallmark signs of this animal haven.

Day 9: TRANSFER TO ISHASHA SECTOR | AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE

Day 10: TRANSFER TO BWINDI FOREST | BATWA COMMUNITY WALK

Transfer to Bwindi Mountains through a beautiful drive from savanna via cultivated hills to jungle-covered mountains. Enjoy a community walk including a visit to the local Batwa community who once lived in Bwindi’s jungles. Learn about their traditional lifestyle.

Day 11: GORILLA TREKKING | TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI

The highlight of your 14-day safari: trek mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. A specialized guide takes your group into the jungle. Trek through beautiful nature and spend one hour with gorillas—an unforgettable experience. The forest teems with birds, butterflies, plant species, forest hogs, forest elephants, sitatungas, and duikers. After the trek, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi (1,840m above sea level) offering stunning scenery and rest.
